SE Factory B.V. just secured a new grant to develop our EMDR Wearable Pulsator. This project lets us focus on a clear goal: making trauma therapy more accessible when and where patients actually need it.
While face-to-face sessions are still the norm, having flexible remote options gives therapists extra tools when patients need them. Designed specifically for telehealth, this wearable allows therapists to guide sessions remotely without losing the ability to use the benefits of tactile (bilateral) stimulation during remote EMDR sessions. On top of that, it gives practitioners a way to support clients through acute stress moments in their daily lives, between sessions, always under strict clinical guidance.
The funding is co-financed by the European Union through the Just Transition Fund (JTF) and granted by the SNN (Northern Netherlands Alliance).
It’s an exciting step for our team in Groningen. We get to push the boundaries of modern healthcare while creating tech jobs and driving innovation right here in the Northern Netherlands.
